    Drag-n-Drop WordPress Widget is Back

Since WordPress version 2.8 (named for noted trumpeter and vocalist Chet Baker) was released, there have been so many new basic features and advance features added to it. Also few features were also left out and didn’t make it into version 2.8. However there is one thing that we were missing before and it has made its comeback into this version. The drag-n-drop widget.

    No Drag-n-drop Widget

Last seen in WordPress version 2.3, now it is back in the new released version 2.8 codenamed Baker. Since the WordPress version 2.5 came out, this feature was left out and it seems like taking a step back and made the process of moving widget much more harder since it was not so user friendly.

Now it is back and presenting three different sections – available widgets, active widgets and inactive widgets. The sidebar can be easily collapse/expand individually and manage the screen at ease. Also comes with it is the rotating animation like loading when widget was dragged and dropped onto the sidebar.

There are also many added features to this wordpress version 2.8 where now its stable version is 2.8.1. Follow us for more.
