Mostly, whenever we searched for any keyword in a website search box, it will redirect us to a search results page with unfriendly search urls. Usually these kind of url does not make any sense to us and quite confusing for us to read. However, there is a simple WordPress plugins that may solve this problem and gets us more readable and SEO friendly search url.
An extremely nice plugins from Tempus Fugit by Mark Jaquith will turn your normal search string from this:
http://www.domain.com/?s=search-term
into this:
http://www.domain.com/search/search-term
This plugins removes the unnecessary “?” and converts spaces (%20) into plus sign “+”, making your wordpress search string more readable, and looks good for search engine optimization.
